I have often been told off about being a flibbertigibbit in my embroidery practice and it is so so true...but the students in Melbourne at Embroiderer's Guild Victoria Summer School are defintitely not flibbertigibbits !
Below are pics of some of the students work... Glenis and Margaret ...well done and so carefully completed..Button Brooches and Fourfolds...
We did the Mabeth bauble too...this is Margaret's finished version...
This was my original...
On another note here is a prototype pattern for a baby block...
but I may put some Macbeth designs on there instead...not sure yet...
This prints out in landscape orientation onto A3 paper..this is the prototype..from which I am working a set of blocks but I thought you might be able to use this as a starting point ....I am intending to stitch the designs...turn the little sideseams inside and glove stitch all together...maybe foam block for filling...maybe stuffed...not sure yet. Jo Maxwell at The Elephant Patch Needlework Supplies shop in Ballarat (0408922850) has given me some lovely Japanese linen to try and so shall work the first one with that and some matching Cozy Wool from Cottage Garden Threads...Cheers Brenda
